Endocrinologist Mark Henderson MD has 22 years of experience providing endocrine care for patients of all ages. His practice covers thyroid disorders, diabetes and other endocrine disorders such as Cushing’s disease, osteoporosis and calcium deficiencies, growth hormone and testosterone complications and vitamin deficiencies. Your primary care provider may make a referral for your specific needs.

Mr. Dana Green, PA-C/Diabetologist has 13 years of experience in internal medicine and diabetes patient care. His practice covers diabetes patient care with a focus insulin treatment plans, oral medications and internal medicine care for diabetes patients with chronic medical conditions (renal disease, cardio metabolic, thyroid, vitamin deficiencies, hypertension and weight loss). More than 150 medical providers in central and northern Maine refer patients to Mr. Green for extended diabetes care issues under Dr. Mark Henderson’s office.

Mr. Green is also the Director of the St. Joseph Diabetes Institute of Behavioral Medicine in which he teaches and conducts patient educational classes, medical provider education/training workshops and diabetes clinical research initiatives. He has taken part in numerous diabetes related clinical trials and research projects and is also a PhD student at the University of Maine.
