Patient Education Classes

The Diabetes Institute offers adult diabetes educational training for patients who have had diabetes for five years or more and are finding it difficult to manage their self-care needs. These courses will help you make the necessary behavioral changes in order to achieve better glucose management and decrease your risk of diabetes-related complications.  We also offer adult group diabetes education classes that will provide you experiences in medical art therapy, acceptance and commitment techniques and mindfulness training.

Our course will teach you how to smile again and find life more enjoyable.
