Workshops for Medical Providers

We offer evidence-based medical workshops to assist physician assistants, nurse practitioners, physicians, dietitians and nurses with improving diabetes patient care.  All our workshops offer CME or CEU credits for medical providers based on their specific certification. The Institute provides an annual Insulin Education program every fall (September to December) for 20-24 Category 1 CME/CEU hours. The course is designed to help providers improve the delivery of Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes patient care within their individual medical practices. The workshops generally meet one to two times monthly at the St. Joseph Diabetes Institute. The workshop series is limited to 20 providers. To register for this program, E-mail the St. Joseph Diabetes Institute on or after April 1, 2010 for an application (courses and descriptions are listed below).
